BUDGET


ABSTRACT


nowadays, bar code has been widely used for variety purpose like car parking ticket and price tag. its advantages are low cost, easy to implement, accuracy and easy to integrate with other software or applications. for this final year project, it will use bar code as the main feature. this project entitles Development of parking system using a bar code. none of us is untouched with irritating parking problems. this system is designed to park vehicles by circulating cage. it is also a simple one-touch control. furthermore, it completely equipped with safety devices commonly known as mini rotary type, this system is designed to park vehicles by vertically circulating cage in left-right direction. the aim of this project are to create a systematic method of parking cars by using a bar code (ticket) then automatically bring the cars to the owner after they scan the ticket. the car will move on the conveyor due to bar code ticket to exit. it is easy to install in left-over space or small area and it free from breakdowns because of the simple circular rotation type mechanism. there is no need of special staff for management because the facility can be run directly by automatically.
this is the best method to ensure that the parking system will be able to save time as well. depending on the application, time savings can be significant. this project will be used a visual basic programming as an instruction to control the parking system of bar code. other than that, by improving the operational efficiency, it can move quickly and be tracked precisely using the conveyor. the main focus of the study parking system bar code will be proposed, tested, and applied to the analysis and design of the parking system. my expectation in this project is to ensure the parking system using bar code will directly circulate in the cage whereby the visual basic software is used as the controller and meets my objectives above.

OBJECTIVE

this research study intends of parking car using bar code system. the objectives are:
  • to save user time and energy
  • to ease the consumer for unnecessary to access the parking area
  • to control of vehicle flows by entering and exit the parking area
  • automatic operation of entrance and exit the cars
  • safety
